A view of the Sierra Mountains, from about a mile from where I work. It’s sunny and warm here, but there’s snow on the mountaintops. Just the way it should be.

I work right next to a small airport. It’s connected to a neighborhood who’s houses have hangars instead of garages, who’s streets are extra wide, and who’s street signs are only a few feet tall so that the wings don’t hit the signs. All day long I hear small planes taking off and landing. Funny, since I HATE to fly, and have never been in a small prop plane.

Here’s the view of the runway (behind the vehicles and plane.) The road is in the foreground. The airport runs that close to the road.
